Welfarism is an act of giving helps and assistance to the needy. It's a benevolent expression to those who are short of social amenities, medical cares and feeding. 

The expression is part and parcel of the Christian community which has been in practice over the ages, Hebrew 13:16. In fact Jesus fully demonstrated this act of kindness during his ministry era as we can observe in the feeding of multitudes, healing the sick and providing hope for the hopeless.

As we all know there are many people among us who daily need assistance one way or the other maybe due to disabilities, old age, widowhood, lack of jobs or being ophan. In order to rescue the situation this is why government set up some social intervention program. 

But unfortunately the government can not provide everything for the citizenry hence the reason why some meaningful individuals also took up the challenge by creating such institution.

Here in Nigeria we have several of these organizations. But unfortunately many of them are not known. The only people that are benefiting from such good gesture are perhaps the individuals around them.

This is the reason for creating the National Christian Directory in order to assist in projecting the good image of the organisation and the benefits that goes with it. The Directory seek to make the job of locating them easy as well as to support them handfully.

So if you have an organisation of this nature it's highly necessary to let people know where you are located, your special area of operation and how you can offer your service to humanity.

Also if you as an individual is looking for help or assistance the directory is intended to guide you properly so that you can obtain what you need without stress.

Introduction to Mission Schools

Education remains one of the greatest gift to give to a child. There's a saying that when you educate a child you are indirectly educating the world. Because the after effects of education are usually on display by the characters of the child.

This is the reason why it becomes imperative to train and educate a child after the ordinances of God. And the Bible clearly encourage parents to bring up their children in the ways of the Lord so that when they grow up they will not depart from it. Prov. 22:6

Nigeria educational systems can not be complete without mentioning mission Schools. In fact it was through mission schools that majority of schools came into existence. This was because the early christian missionaries incorporated schools into mission work. They built several schools where proper upbringing and education were given to children.

Today there are several mission schools in Nigeria. In spite of the falling standard of education in the country many of  them are still excelling.

The only challenge however is that many christian parents are not granting access to their children to attend these schools anymore. Not because they don't love to do so but because they don't know how to locate them.

That is the purpose of creating the Zionhouse National Christian Directory website. It intend to unveil many of these schools and where they are located. It will not only reduce the stress of finding them out but it will automatically help in fulfilling the anticipated dream of most parents toward their children.
