13 Ways you can "magically" draw people to your church and also increase membership

As a pastor or a church founder, there are some ways you need to know which will magically attract people to your church as well as makes them to become regular members .

These methods have nothing to do with acquiring strange powers like some other pastors do but the practical and biblical ways of growing a ministry.

Having been called into the ministry God also promised to equip you with everything you need to succeed. Both spiritually, financially, materially and intellectually.  All you need to do is to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and apply the ways that are clearly outline here.

First thing on the list is Prayer and Evangelism. You can't go far in bringing people to your church or to keep them if you don't have the gift of praying and evangelism. You may be a good preacher but you also need  to go out to evangelize. Many successful pastors and founders will tell you that. And then back up your efforts with strong prayer.

2. Preach life transformative sermons or Messages. This is not about sugarcoating your Bible teaching but delivering your sermons that are meaningful to the lives of the people. It should be able to guide them in real life.

3. Build discipleship. You are called into the ministry and therefore be able to encourage your members to serve as well. Create the enably environment for them to serve in various capacities, including engaging in leadership roles.

4. Foster community integration. Don't fold your hands and expect people to be coming to your church just like that. Try to create small groups, Bible studies, and social events to build relationships and a sense of belonging.

5. Your personal connection. Your personal connection with your members and your community matters a lot. You need to regularly visit, call, or meet with them to show care and interest in their lives.

6. Recognize the importance of your members by celebrating their achievement, anniversaries and special occasions. This is one way to make them feel relevant in your ministry.

7.  Engage in Outreach programs. Organize community events, outreach initiatives, and service projects to engage with the surrounding community.

8.  Social media presence. Today, you are awared, many people uses social media, like Facebook , Whatsapp, Instagram or Twitter to connect with friends and families. You can utilize these platforms to share your message, events, and testimonies.

9.  Make use of what is known as 'Invitation culture'. This means, to encourage your existing members to invite friends and family to services and events.

10.  Don't bore your newcomers. Worship service is a great way to go. Ensure that the moment  are always friendly and engaging so that newcomers will want to come back for more.

11.  Always engage in follow-up. Contact visitors and newcomers to thank them for attending and invite them to return.

12.  Set up membership classes. Offer classes or workshops to help new members understand your church's vision, values, and beliefs.

13.  Don't do things alone, be involved in community network.  Partner with local organizations and businesses to increase visibility and build relationships.

Remember, building a strong, engaged church community takes time, effort, and dedication. Focus on nurturing your existing members while also reaching out to those in your surrounding community.
