We are all faced with challenges on daily bases. It doesn't matter if we're christians or not. It's even more challenging as a Christian when it has to do with starting a business or maintaining an existing one.
However, we are not to be worried, knowing fully well that God is on our back, Proverbs 16:3. Only one thing we should do is to trust Him and be opened to good suggestions and ideas on how to succeed.
So here are some strategic methods to grow a new business as a Christian or maintain an existing one:
NEW BUSINESS
1. * You need Prayer and God's Guidance. Seek God's wisdom and guidance in decision-making, Psalms 50:15
2. * You need to have a Clear Vision and Mission Statement. Define your purpose, values, and objectives.
3. * Have a Business Plan. Develop a comprehensive business plan.
4. * Do some Market Research. Understand your target audience and market trends.
5. * Try to have Networking System. Build relationships with mentors, peers, and potential customers.
6. * Maintain Quality Products/Services. Offer excellent products or services that glorify God.
7. * Indulge in good Marketing and Advertising strategy. Utilize effective marketing strategies.
8. * You need good Financial Management skills. Practice good financial stewardship.
9. * Get good hands to work with you and engage in training them. Hire employees who share your values and provide training.
10. * Don't stop where you are, continue on Improvement. Regularly assess and improve your business.
But if you already have an existing business, here are what you should do.
EXISTING BUSINESS1. * You should regularly re-evaluate your Vision and Mission. Ensure alignment with God's purpose.
2. * Try to be more Innovative and Adaptive to change. Stay ahead of industry trends and adapt to changes.
3. * Have a listening ears by looking at Customer's Feedback. Listen to customers and improve products/services.
4. * Regularly ensure there's employee Development. Invest in employee growth and training.
5. * There should be a need for Expansion and Diversification. Explore new opportunities and markets.
6. * You need Partnerships and Collaborations. Form strategic partnerships.
7. * If you are capable enough try to give back to your community. Integrate giving and community service into your business.
8. * Consider Mentorship. Find a mentor or become a mentor to others.
9. * Leverage on accountability. Surround yourself with accountability partners.
10. * Don't give up, have faith and Persevere. Trust God through challenges and uncertainties, Deuteronomy 1:21
